Our Process

A clear path from first contact to ongoing care.

Financial advice in Australia is a regulated process for good reason — it protects you. Here’s exactly what to expect at each stage of working with us.

Initial contact

Before we discuss anything specific, you’ll receive our Financial Services & Credit Guide (FSCG) — a statutory ASIC requirement that outlines our credentials, the areas of advice we’re licensed to provide, and how we’re paid.

Initial meeting

We work to understand your needs and wants — why you’re seeking advice, and why now. We review your current financial position and establish your risk tolerance, so any strategy we build uses genuinely suitable products.

Letter of engagement

We send a formal letter detailing next steps and seeking your approval to prepare a detailed plan called a Statement of Advice (SOA). This is a legal requirement — it outlines our recommendations and exactly how they meet your needs and objectives.

Strategy review meeting

We meet again to walk through the SOA, answer your questions, and present options for your consideration. Once you formally accept the plan, we prepare the documents needed to implement it.

Ongoing monitoring

Periodic meetings ensure your strategy stays valid as your life and circumstances change. The frequency of these reviews is agreed with you, based on your needs.
